Happy Friday everyone!
What a week. I feel more exhausted trying to keep my boys in line for school work than I remember being when I was in school! Anyway, here are my reads for the week. Revenge at Raleigh High and Reckless at Raleigh High by Callie Hart! I'm truly enjoying this series and even though I'm still in the middle of Reckless, I couldn't not share! Blurb for Revenge at Raleigh High: SILVER Kiss me. Hold me. Claim me. Love me. It’s hard to remember what life was like before the dark-haired, dark-eyed devil waltzed into Silver’s life and set fire to her soul. The town of Raleigh is gradually returning to normal after the painful losses it suffered. Jacob Weaving and his football f#@k boys are nothing but tainted memories in Silver’s rear-view mirror. The halls of Raleigh High don’t even inspire the same terror that they used to… But… Falling in love so hard, so fast was always bound to blind a girl. Silver has been too wrapped up in her inked-up hero to notice any of the signs: all is not as it should be at Raleigh High. The Raleigh High elite haven’t forgotten the girl who dared defy them… And now it’s time to make her pay. Goodreads Amazon Reckless at Raleigh High Blurb: “When will we have given enough? When will we have lost enough? If there’s no one out there keeping track of how much pain we’re dealt, how much we’re asked to bear, then that’s the most terrifying thing, Silver. ’Cause if there’s no one keeping track...then there’s no one out there to make it stop.” Pain is a currency the residents of Raleigh are rich in. For Silver Parisi, life should be simpler than ever now that Jacob Weaving is behind bars. However, corruption runs deep within Raleigh's town limits, and power and money will turn even those sworn to serve and protect in the end. Alex Moretti's never had anything to lose. Kicked from foster home to foster home, beaten, broken and abandoned, he's used to fighting for his own survival. The brutal challenges he's had to face have hardened him. Made him a savage force to be reckoned with. But even the strongest amongst us have a breaking point... Goodreads Amazon That's all I have for this week. I hope the weather is warm there and you're safe. Have a happy, healthy, and wonderful Easter weekend! x Brooke
