Our plans do to some work around our house were dashed by the weather. We only got a single piece of sidewalk poured before the weather turned.
In other news, I revealed a new cover today! It's a collab project with a bunch of other wonderful authors, Destination Romance. My story, German Wanderlust, is coming June 30th! Adventure has always captured Larissa Neuschwander, but it wasn’t until the passing of her grandmother and the discovery of one final letter to her long-time pen pal that has Larissa’s wanderlust about to get a good taste. Flying off to Germany to hand deliver the letter rather than slapping a stamp on it and calling it good, Larissa is about to embark on a journey of a lifetime and maybe, a Germanic romance in the process with a handsome woodsman. Barrett Muller is done with women and just wants some peace on his family’s Christmas tree farm to clear his head and surround himself in nature without another person in sight. Little does he know that a spilled cup of coffee and a nice back view is about to turn his otherwise simple life upside down. The foreign woman who captivates him in town turns out to be the very one he grew up hearing tales of. Could fate have some part to play in the simple task? Are Larissa and Barrett destined to come together and forge a path that would make both of their grandmothers happy? Or is this thing blossoming between them just something simple and fleeting? Amazon: https://mybook.to/DRGermanWanderlust I'm pretty excited for this story. And turns out, this isn't the only surprise I have in store for you this year! More to come in a couple of months. Today, while it's raining, I got to work on my 2023 releases by starting the second draft of the first book coming next year. You can check out my Instagram to see what it is. That's about all I have for you today. Have a great one! x Brooke

My youngest has a week filled with field trips I get to tag along to. Today is going to be one of our favorites at the local fish hatchery. I only have a short bit of time before I have to start heading out there.
That's about all I have to share with you today. Stay tuned for Friday with May's What Brooke Read! Have a great one! x Brooke Out of all the pictures I took, this is the closest to coming out decent. Hindsight, I should have went out to my parents' where I could have set up my tripod and not had power lines in the way.
Where you able to see it? From what I heard, my region was one of the best places to see it. I'm entering the home stretch with getting rough drafts done for the year. This time next week, I'll have this book wrapped up and turn my focus to second drafts. There was a change come up last week and I've had another book added to my roster for this year. I can't tell you what yet, but I hope you'll be excited about it when I can share! I spent the weekend gardening and transplanting flowers with the help of my youngest. That's about all I have for you today. Have a great week! x Brooke I'm in the home stretch now! I have one final book to work on before my kids are let out for the summer and 2023 re-writes will be upon me. My final book for this school year is the third Long Claw Pride book. The second one will be coming out next year. I'm hoping it will only take me a couple of weeks mainly due to the fact that the first second draft I'll be working on for next year is so long and it needs a lot of work done to it.
I hope your Mother's Day was a nice one. We had dinner with my parents and not much else other than getting the garden ready for planting. I know, I'm getting a late start, but we are just now starting to come out of winter. That's all I have for your this week. Have a great one! x Brooke I hope your weekend was a good one.
I'm entering the final stretch with my second-to-last manuscript for the school year. It's too difficult to write something new with my kids home 24/7 so I focus on second drafts for my books coming out next year. I have one more story to get out of my head before then. In the meantime, I'm dreaming about mountain adventures for this summer including a wedding that'll be a blast. I don't have much to share with you this week. I hope you have a great one! x Brooke |
