I'm likely going to jinx myself by saying this, but it seems like I've been doing pretty damn good getting a book done at least once a month. I just wish I could publish as quickly!
I started February with the hopes of getting my thriller going, but a struggled so much with it that I had to shelf it for now. So, I'm working on something else and hoping I can make heads of this story that's starting to form in my head. Spring feels like it's right around the corner here in the WYO which means I can start getting my garden put together. I don't have much else to share with you today. I hope your February is ending on a good note and March begins amazing. x Brooke

February flew by in a blur of dirty, dark reverse harems for me!
It all started with wrapping up the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti. I'm still not over this series! It was amazing and holy hell of a lot sexy! Kings of Anarchy Goodreads Queen of Quarantine Goodreads Amazon Hooked by Emily McIntire wasn't a RH but it was dark. Goodreads Amazon I'm having withdrawals from the Harlequin Crew since the next book was moved to come out April 1st, so I went back and read Devil's Pass by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti. Goodreads Amazon I took a break from RH and read Cowboy Dragon by Terry Bolryder. Goodreads Amazon Prey by L.V. Lane was a different type of RH. Goodreads Amazon Kings of Chaos by Eva Ashwood felt a lot like Den of Vipers by K.A. Knight. Goodreads Amazon I dove into another dark RH series that is brand new. The new book came out this week and I plan on reading it before the end of the month. Depraved Sinners Amazon Psychos Goodreads Heathens Goodreads Callie Rhodes did it again with a new Omegaverse book, Axel! Goodreads Amazon The last series I have for you is from Angel Lawson and Samantha Rue and boy are they hot, dirty, and dark! Amazon Lords of Pain Goodreads Lords of Wrath Goodreads Lords of Mercy Goodreads That's all I have for you! I hope you find something in this list like always. Have a wonderful weekend. x Brooke I'm beyond thrilled we finally got a good snow overnight and still coming off and on this morning.
I've shoveled twice now and getting ready to put a newsletter together for my new release coming up on Thursday even though it's already out. Thanks, Zon for taking pre-order away from me last year. It's the third installment on my Powder River Pack. It's Brandon Quarters' turn! I have What Brooke Read this coming Friday so be on the look out. I don't have much less to share. Have a wonderful week. x Brooke I'm not one to celebrate holidays like this. I feel every day of the year should showcase some sign of love for the people around you. My husband and I don't exchange cards, flowers, or chocolates. We say it to one another but that's it.
Today, I'm busying myself with words and then heading to see my son for his Valentine's Day party. I don't have much to share right now aside from ... 10 days until It Just Comes Natural is out!!! I'm so excited and hoping to have links to you this week. Darn Zon for keeping the pre-order option from me. Hopefully, I'll have it back by the time my May release comes. Have a wonderful week with amazing reads! x Brooke Normally, we have winter by now. Sure, we've had a few days of bitter cold and snowstorms here and there, but nothing like we need. And as I'm working away today, I'm wondering what kind of summer fun there will to be had this year if we don't start getting moisture. I pray for rain and hope for no fire restrictions that could possibly start in June. I don't want the mountain to come to flames for a careless person casting a cigarette from their vehicle or even a fire that wasn't put out properly.
Don't mind me, it's just the ramblings of a concerned person. I'm working away this week like usual and struggling with the beginning of my thriller. I might have to try starting in the middle first, but I'm going to wait and see if something natural comes to me. I hope it does because what I have planned out for the rest I'm truly excited for. That's all I have for this week. As always, have a wonderful one. x Brooke |
