Not a word most associate with a Monday morning, right?
It's exactly what I got today on my daily walk with my dog. Traffic wasn't bad when I had to cross a street and there was only a few people at the park I like to walk through. It was a perfect way to start the week and get me back into the writing zone as I continue to work on the last Moto X book and finish up laundry.
It also got me thinking about tweaking my release schedule for next year. But that's all I'm going to say on that topic.
This coming weekend isn't just Halloween. There is a local craft show I'll be selling my books at. So if you're a local to the area where I live, make sure you come up to the fairgrounds Saturday 9 to 3 to see me and all the others who have booths.
My oldest got his second buck this weekend. He hasn't had the best luck finding any and even if he did, he didn't get a shot he was comfortable enough with. He hunted smart and safe and I'm so very proud of him. We have plenty of meat for the winter now.

We had a pretty lazy weekend around here and today the little guy got his cast off! He still has to be careful for the next several weeks but the doctor didn't see a point putting another one on because of how well he's healed up.
I'm reading up on Dune to be ready for the new movie. Years ago, I fell in love with the mini series they had on TV, I own them now, and decided I better sit down and read the book. The local bookstore has all of them so I'll be heading back to get the rest. 
I'm working away on my final Moto X book while also getting ready for The Mating Call release next week.

Winter is knocking at our door right now with sleet that will be snow by the end of the day.  Fall lasted a few days and it was nice. I love my morning walks in the fall, now I'm going to have to bundle up. This picture I took last Friday on my walk, it doesn't even touch on how pretty the colors were.
I'm working away on my final Moto X book with it evolving and changing from what I originally outlined which I love when it this happens.

What a weekend! I got to see my brother who I haven't seen for a couple of months, spent time in the mountains where I got a flat, celebrated my mom's birthday, and of course, hunting! No one, my brother aside, has gotten anything yet, but we'll have freezers full before snow fall.
I'm done working on my two short stories and diving into the last Moto X book. I'm pumped to get into Parker's mind and see what kind of adventure I'll be going on with him. 
The Mating Call will be coming out in just 24 days! I can't wait for you to meet my mountain lion shifters.
