 Welp, summer has come to an end and just like every year since becoming a mom, I feel like we didn't do enough to have fun. But we still have our weekends to adventure.
While this week marks kiddos going back to school all over the place, I'm wrapping up my second drafts for the year that took a lot longer than usual. Normally, I'm done by mid-August, I won't be done until Wednesday with this final book for 2024. I have five coming next year! Then I'm diving into rough drafts starting with the final book of 2026. Hello Lovelies! Where has the summer gone? Seriously? I don't get where the time went. As always, I feel like I didn't get enough time with my kiddos and now school is right around the corner.

It was a long day that ended with my husband and I spending more time on the side of the road calling elk and watching moose on our way back to the rest of the family.
As much as I wanted to go fishing, my oldest decided to have an upset stomach that brough us home early. That's okay, I plan on fishing this coming weekend. This week, has me wrapping up my final book for 2024 and then diving into outlines for the books I plan on writing this coming fall when school starts up once more.
