Our weekend was mostly quiet due to us having a sick pup. Timber somehow got kennel cough but thankfully it's only a mild case and she's doing so much better today. We've had the house on lockdown to keep it as calm as possible for her, not an easy task when I brought a cowbell home Saturday.
My dad goes a wild hair up his butt to finally clean out my grandma's garage. That's where the family laughs comes in. Some things were uncovered that brought back a wide array of smiles and memories.
One thing that aided in having a mostly quiet weekend at home was that I got the last new manuscript I plan on working on until September. Now, I'm onto second drafts finally!
First off ... well, I don't know if I'm ready to share what the line up for next year is. Maybe a hint of the first book for 2022?
You'll be howling to get your hands on it. Enough of a clue?
This week there will be the May What Brooke Read on Friday and my kiddos will be home for the summer!

Happy Monday!
I hope your weekend was wonderful. Ours was rainy but okay. As you can see from the shirts above, I've been busy. All of these, except The Bridesmaids series, is available in my store. The Bridesmaids Series comes out next year.
Colors will only be in black and white for now. The ones above are my personal shirts. I'm finishing up a manuscript today and then diving into an outline for another one coming out next year. I was hoping to really get to work on re-writes but had something come up.
Hopefully, I'll have a few announcements for you soon!

The kiddos are down to the single digits when it comes to their school year and then the summer begins.
That means I only have a few days to wrap up the manuscript I'm working on and then it'll be second drafts for the next three months! Pool fun, daily morning walks, and as much mountain time as we can possibly get with hiking, camping, and fishing!
What summer plans are you making?
Is Wild Deadwood Reader June 19th in Deadwood, South Dakota one of them? I'm excited to be heading back!

It was a rainy day yesterday, one that I love being able to stay inside and write but the words just weren't coming to me. Instead, I fired up my Cricut, heated my Easy-Press, and got to work making sample shirt for me to wear and hopefully for readers to buy in my shop. Two hours it took me to make shirts for each of my series, two that aren't even out yet! Today, I'm rocking the My Cowboy Series shirt.
In writing news, I'm hard at work with two manuscripts, one is a second draft while the other is a rough draft. I'm also working on something else. It's going super slow and I'm not quite ready to share much about it yet. 
And that's how I'm kicking starting May.
