Late last year, I had finished the final book for a series. I had it all figured out, until I was almost done and realized I messed up, big time! Well, I walked away from it for a little bit and came back to it a few weeks ago. I can happily say that it's fixed on and has finally completed the series!
Now, I'm on to the next My Cowboy book. This one too I had written, but didn't like the direction I picked and now completely re-writing it. That's about it for the week. I'll be back Friday with September's What Brooke Read. Until then. x Brooke Who says death and decay can't be beautiful? I love fall colors. It's something I share with my mom and grandma (mom's mom). Nothing is better than the fall colors on the mountains though. The picture above wasn't taken on the mountain, but still just as beautiful with the golden colors of fall started to take possession of the land.
I'm busying myself away with the FINAL Moto X book. If you're a fan of the series, you'll know it has to be Parker's book that's coming. I'll tell you this, it has to be the most difficult book I've written so far, but won't explain how it is so. My husband is back, successful from getting an elk which I'm happy about. Now, we just need deer and our freezers will be full for the year. That's all I have for you this week. Remember, My Bronc Riding Cowgirl (My Cowboy #6) and Blakely: A Rogue Enforcers Novella both come out on Thursday! Have a wonderful week! x Brooke Happy Monday! I hope your weekend went well. Mine was spent going through family pictures and battling a cold I'm just now feeling better from. I also hung out with my kiddos and watched Thor: Love and Thunder as well as Minions: Rise of Gru. Next week I have not one, but TWO books coming out on the 22nd. The teaser above is for My Bronc Riding Cowgirl, book #6 in the My Cowboy Series. ~*~My Bronc Riding Cowgirl~*~The saying goes “anything you can do; I can do better.” In the case of Tori Foster, she may not do it better but she most certainly will do it. Daughter of legendary saddle bronc rider, Justin Foster, Tori has big dreams she’s kept to herself and about to share what she’s capable of with the world. No good-looking cowboy is going to get in her way of reaching her goals and show what she’s made of. Cord King is riding on high, top of his game for his rookie season as a saddle bronc rider. Media and female attention are plentiful until he arrives in Elk Field for their annual rodeo. Being the son of a legend as well as one in the making himself isn’t going to impress one feisty cowgirl who leaves him reeling after a verbal punch to the face. His spotlight is taken when Tori takes to the arena. Can he overcome jealousy to see the talent Tori possesses? Will Tori lose focus thanks to the distraction that is Cord? Watch them compete in and out of the arena. Possibly, they could find something more than a championship buckle. And the second book coming out on the 22nd is Blakely, my next Rogue Enforcer story! The killer bunny has a sister ... That's all I'm going to give you along with the teaser above and the blurb. Blakely: A Rogue Enforcers Novella Blakely Reynolds has been saved by her sister, rescued from humans who sought to hurt her in unimaginable ways. There’s only one issue with her rescue; Briar wasn’t in time to save Blakely’s mate as well. Now, haunted by her too short of a moment with him, Blakely is determined to find and save him before it’s too late. With her siblings by her side, Blakely is willing to push herself to her limits and dive into the field work her brother and sister typically do in order to bring him back to her. Jagger Grimes is a protector. In the past, he sacrificed himself in order to protect his family which is what led him to being captured. It’s also where he found his mate, strapped to a table across a tent from him, Jagger found his woman only to lose her after getting only her name. He wakes in a prison, isolated but brimming with determination to find a way out and rescue his mate. With the help of his jackalope and his abilities, Jagger manages to escape. Can the two of them reunite? Or will an explosion separate them for all eternity? That's it for me this week. I have a book to read through now. Have a wonderful one!
x Brooke After a weekend away, I feel like I'm ready to tackle a project I keep coming back to and actually succeeding with it this time around. I don't have a whole lot to share with you. I spent time with my family in my favorite place in the world and now it's back to the heat and our regularly scheduled life.
I hope you had a great weekend filled with memories. And, as always, have a wonderful week. x Brooke |
