Maddi: My great grandmother and it is a family name that skipped a few generations so my parents gave it to me. Me: When was the last time you cried? Maddi: chrysanthemums, they are so pretty. Me: Do you still have your tonsils? Maddi: No, I had them taken out when I was six. Me: Would you ever bungee jump? Maddi: Goodness, no. I'd be too scared for the bungee to snap or hitting my head on something. Me: Did you go to college? Maddi: *Giggles* Silly, you know I did but yes. I attended school for a degree in psychology until I dropped out to take care of Tucker and then went to baking classes to open my bakery. Me: Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? I've decided to try something out this week. Something different and for kicks. I'm going to do the same with each of my leading characters. (K.C. and Chamberlain, Beth and Scott will answer together.) FYI, I don't own the image above, it is just one I found that I thought fit Emma pretty well. So here it goes, an interview with Emma Price (Masters) Me: Who are you named after? Emma: *Laughs and gets comfortable on her porch swing* No one I know of. My mom said the moment I pooped out she knew my name had to be Emma. She said the same thing about Tucker, too. Me: When was the last time you cried? Emma: Last week, Aspen was helping me with some fencing around the house and ran over my foot with her four-wheeler. Hurt like a son of a bitch. Me: Do you prefer soda or water? Emma: Choice number three, please. Give me something stronger, but out of the two, I'll take water. Me: What is your favorite pizza? Emma: Pepperoni, green bell peppers, and onion. Cade won't kiss me after I eat my "strange" pizza. Me: What's your favorite flower? Emma: Carnations? It's something I don't always pay attention to, sorry. I like whatever Cade or the kids bring me. Me: Do you still have your tonsils? Emma: Yes, I do. What kind of question is that? Me: Would you ever go bungee jumping? Emma: Maybe? *shrugs* If Libby dared me and I had enough liquor in me. Me: Did you go to college? Emma: You know this, you are the commander of my destiny remember? But yes, I did. Community college. Me: Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? Emma: Umm, no? I live in boots, they don't require laces. My hunting boots I do because they can be a bitch to take off if I don't. Me: Have you ever ridden on a roller coaster? Emma: No, but I'm sure if I ever did, I'd throw up everywhere. *stares at me with wide, creepy eyes.* Everywhere. Me: What's your favorite ice cream? Emma: All? If it is frozen and has ice cream on the container, I'll eat it. Me: What are your favorite things? Emma: My kids, the husband, the way the fields smell after a cutting, and my animals. Me: Do you prefer shorts or jeans? Emma: I live in jeans. Sometimes shorts are okay, but I like having my legs covered. Me: What was the last thing, song or whatever, were you listening to? Emma: Timber barking at Hunter who was shooting his b-b gun and his giggles. Me: What's your favorite color? Emma: Duh, camo! Me: Do you have any tattoos? Emma: You know this too. My wings on my back. *Looks to the heavens* Miss you, Dad. Me: What's your hair color? Emma: Why are you asking me these things? You know I'm a blond like you. Me: I know, another stupid one; your eye color? Emma: Again, the same as you, blue. Me: What are your favorite things to eat? Emma: Food in general. Me: Do you like scary or happy endings? Emma: Happy, scary ones leave me awake at night and jumpy at every noise. Me: Android or iPhone? Emma: Android. Me: Now, don't start a war or a long speech about this one. Chevy, Ford, or Dodge? Emma: *grins evilly* You know me so well. Me: I should. Emma: Give me a Chevy any day. Me: What's your favorite holiday? Emma: *deadpans* Hunting season. Me: Beer or wine? Emma: *deadpans again* Whiskey. Me: Are you a night owl or morning bird? Emma: Morning, I don't like it but that's when work starts. But if Cade is staying up with me, I'll be a night owl if you catch my drift. *winks* Me: Last one. What is your favorite day of the week? Emma: Everyday I get to see my children happy, my husband's smile, and the sun is shining, even behind the clouds.
