It's cold here. Okay, it isn't as cold as the lake states are currently, but the wind is no joke here either. Looking at this man has me warming up even when coffee didn't do the trick. Hello, cowboy.
Makes me think Young Frankenstein. "Would you like to take a roll in the hay?" Words are flying here! I'm wrapping up the second draft of another manuscript while waiting on edits and covers for Back in the Ring. If you follow me on Facebook I have a poll up for you to pick out which book I should write next. I know, that is something new. I usually know what I'm going to write but I can't pick which one to do first. So, you get to pick. Whatever one doesn't win will be written after the winner. Well, that's all for me. I'm off to take my kiddo to the dentist here in a hour and look for something good for the weekend reads for this week. x, Brooke

Happy Friday!
This week I have a real gut buster for you. If you are looking to laugh your buns off then pick up this read! What's the recipe to the ultimate disaster week? Three unruly friends. A wedding we shouldn't have been invited to. Two unexpected romances. A scoop of sexy. And a double scoop of chaos. Lydia is a good girl who is above revenge. Good thing she has us. No one cheats on our best friend and rides off into the sunset with his new bride. What was supposed to happen? Unleash hell like two badasses. It was a simple plan, but we failed to anticipate a few things. A rogue prosthetic, an accidental exorcism, and dominatrix strippers willing to take things way too far, just to name a few. What actually happened? As usual, nothing went as planned, especially when two sexy distractions popped into the mix. We were there to avenge our friend, not to get entangled with two cocky, arrogant men, who don’t like to hear the word no. I was sure we could resist. I mean, it was only a week, right? What could happen in a week? Not intrigued enough? There's totally a duck in this story. Ah yeah. Now we have your undivided attention. Enjoy our chaos. #WorthIt Goodreads Amazon KU It's the M-word again. Yep, it's Monday. Last week I wrapped up my standalone's rough draft and over the weekend I worked on the first round of edits for Back in the Ring.
I can't believe it is nearly a month from releasing my fourth Predator book!! This story will be in single person perspective much like The Predator Part One was. With this new week, I'm beginning work on the second draft of Taking Flight. It is the second book in my Code of Honor Series. I will be releasing the first book, Courage of Us, later this year. This one is going to be fun because one of the characters is a musician so I need to get my poetic side dug up because she writes a few songs in it. That's all for day. As always, have a wonderful week. x Brooke I'm back with the first weekend read I have for you for 2019!
And this one is a good one! Are you looking for something a little different in the romance world? Than The Kiss Thief is for you. It isn't what you might be expecting and that is always thrilling to me. Blurb: From USA Today and Washington Post bestselling author L.J. Shen comes an enemies-to-lovers romance with a twist... They say your first kiss should be earned. Mine was stolen by a devil in a masquerade mask under the black Chicago sky. They say the vows you take on your wedding day are sacred. Mine were broken before we left church. They say your heart only beats for one man. Mine split and bled for two rivals who fought for it until the bitter end. I was promised to Angelo Bandini, the heir to one of the most powerful families in the Chicago Outfit. Then taken by Senator Wolfe Keaton, who held my father’s sins over his head to force me into marriage. They say that all great love stories have a happy ending. I, Francesca Rossi, found myself erasing and rewriting mine until the very last chapter. One kiss. Two men. Three lives. Entwined together. And somewhere between these two men, I had to find my forever. Available on Kindle Unlimited Amazon Goodreads Monday has hit once more and I'm continuing my attack on my WIP! In this book, there are 8 men my heroine encounters. One of them is a hottie chemistry teacher. Yes, I know the one above is clearly teaching math, but I couldn't resist.
I'm hoping to have this book wrapped up in the next week or so, but that might not work out this week. I'm going into my youngest's class Wednesday to talk to the kids about Wyoming wildlife and my oldest has hunter's safety every night this week. I guess I'll see what I can squeeze in. Have a great week. x, Brooke Happy Friday!
I'm doing something a little different this week. Instead of sharing with you a book I've read this week, which I'm still trying to get into the rhythm of finding some reads. This week I'm going to share my next release. Back in the Ring is the fourth book of The Predator Series. I honestly didn't have any thoughts of writing anymore in the series until I watched South Paw and it was like I was hit with one of those killer punches from Chamberlain. I had a story idea that helped me get me out of a writing slump I had been in and Noah's story came to life. I'm really excited for this story. The cover is amazing, a perfect fit to the story. And here's where the reading part of my typical weekend reads comes in. I'm looking for readers. Yes, not just bloggers, but readers who would like to receive a copy for an honest review. Not familiar with the first three books of the Predator Series? That's okay. This is a standalone and even though it does have appearances by other characters from the previous books, it isn't necessary to read the others.
