This last week was an adventure. Big B had his first official field trip of his fourth grade year and it was right in our own backyard in the Bighorn Mountains!
I had been all over on those mountains and yet, I had never been to Medicine Wheel. It was fun getting to experience this piece of history with my son. It was a nice trip up. Surprisingly, the bus ride was quiet. I know, hard to believe. And I talked with my son and his friends about different places I have been and of course, hunting. It was a great week! We had a fun weekend of hanging out and playing as well. I can't wait to go back up on another adventure, likely hunting. Little E has his very first field trip this week. We are going to the local pumpkin patch. Should be interesting with 3-4 year olds.

Summer has came and went. Now it is time to head back to school. This year I didn't just have to gear up Big B and send him back for fourth grade, but had to prepare Little E for pre-school.
It was bittersweet. I was thrilled to be done with the constant fighting they had settled into, and to my surprise I didn't cry as I dropped off Little E in his classroom. There hasn't been much rest since school started. Big B started football practice the week before and then his first two games were this week. He is falling back into his old routine with it and having fun. The homework he now gets isn't as thrilling to him, but he does it right when he gets in the door. Little E doesn't have homework and only goes two days a week, but he is quickly getting a routine both at home and in the classroom. I can't wait to see what this school year brings and how much they will grow throughout the year. x Brooke (I know she doesn't have red hair, but it fits for Beth.) This week I interviewed Beth. I think next week will be Chamberlain and then Scott. ;) Me: Who are you named after? BETH: I can’t get into too many details about my name. It will give parts of my book away. *Winks* Me: Last time you cried? BETH: When Scott put was being a jerk and put my bag of jerky up on a shelf I couldn’t reach and since I couldn’t climb up there, I got pissed. Me: Soda or water? BETH: Water, but sometimes I like a soda. Me: What is your favorite pizza? BETH: Anything except for pineapple or anchovies. Me: Favorite flower? BETH: You know? I’ve never really thought about it. I guess I don’t have one because flowers have never been my thing. Me: Do you still have your tonsils? BETH: Yes, we could never afford for me to get mine removed even if I had issues. Me: Would you bungee jump? BETH: Hell, yes, bring it on. Me: Did you go to college? BETH: Yes, I went for sports medicine and only had to apply it for a few months. Me: Untie your shoes when taking them off? BETH: Nope, I just kick those bad boys off and hope they will be easy to slide on when I need them again. Me: Ride roller coasters? BETH: Yes, I’ve ridden tons. Even forced K.C. onto one once, but I haven’t gotten her on one since. Me: Favorite ice cream? BETH: Strawberry with bits of frozen strawberries mixed in there. Me: Favorite things? BETH: The people who I’ve come to realize were meant to be my family. Possessions come and go and fade away, but the love you experience with the ones you love never goes away. Me: Shorts or Jeans? BETH: Shorts, especially my workout shorts. Thankfully, I can live in workout clothes most of the time. Me: What are you listening to now? BETH: Marissa is watching the Disney movie Home on the Range and trying to sing along with it. So cute. Me: Favorite color? BETH: Red and green. I know, Christmas colors but you asked what my favorite was. Me: Tattoos? BETH: None, but I’m hoping to get a couple in the future. Me: Favorite thing(s) to eat? BETH: Umm, anything? Except sushi, K.C. loves it but I don’t have the taste for the stuff. Me: Scary or Happy endings? BETH: Either. Happy ones when I need a good cry and scary when I need to feel my heart pumping. Me: Android or iPhone? BETH: Android. Me: Chevy, Ford, or Dodge? BETH: *Whispers* Honda. Don’t tell Scott, he’s a Ford man. Me: Favorite Holiday? BETH: I don’t really have one. Me: Beer or wine? BETH: Beer, never got the taste for wine. Me: Night owl or morning bird? BETH: Both. I stay up late when I’m not training so I can sleep in and when I’m training, I go to bed early so I can get up to workout. Me: Favorite day of the week? BETH: Weekends, because I don’t have to fight and can spend time doing something with K.C. `*•.¸(`*•.¸(`*•.¸★¸.•*´)¸.•*´)¸.•*´
The Predator Wildfire Knockout ¸.•*´(¸.•*´(¸.•*´★`*•.¸)`*•.¸)`*•.¸Wildfire can burn a person, but the growth afterward can be the most beautiful thing anyone will ever see. Beth Martin believes she is weak, a coward who didn’t fight when she needed to most until she stepped into the ring. She’s growing stronger and learning how to open up and trust people with the truths of her past, all thanks to Scott Franks. Being a declared ladies’ man, Scott has never had a woman get under his skin like Beth has. She’s different and he craves more of her. She’s broken and his need to fix her–heal her–matches his desire to hold her in his arms. He just has to hope her secrets and past won’t destroy them before they can become anything more.
