May is over at the stroke of midnight tonight and I read ten books, more if you split up The Assassin's Blade.
I'm adding an encouragement this month and will from now on. If you don't want to buy from Amazon or even Barnes and Noble, but see a book you'd be interested in, I highly recommend going to your local indie bookstore. Most are great at ordering the book for you and helps out your community. Here we go! Tiger Family Business: Lumbercats Vol. 4 by R.R. Born Goodreads Amazon Barnes and Noble Wilder: Book 3 in the Brutal Boys of SIN by Leila James Goodreads Amazon Under the Oak Tree: Season 2, Book 5 by Suji Kim Side Note: I absolutely loved this story! It broke my heart and mended me back together. Goodreads Amazon Barnes and Noble The High Mountain Court by A.K. Mulford Goodreads Amazon Draco by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff Goodreads Amazon Barnes and Noble Kings and Carnage by Sadie Hunt Goodreads Amazon The Assassin's Blade by Sarah J. Maas Goodreads Amazon Barnes and Noble I bought mine from my local bookstore This Woman Forever by Jodi Ellen Malpas Goodreads Amazon Barnes and Noble Of Blades and Wings by Eliza Raine Goodreads Amazon Sucker Punch by Alta Hensley Goodreads Amazon And that's all I have for you this month! As always, I hope you find something you might find interesting. Happy Reading! x Brooke

How are we already drawing up to the end of May? It seriously feels like my kids just went back to school from Spring Break and here we are nearing the end of the school year!
That's all right. Aside from the oldest working, I have tons of fun planned with them as well as a more open summer since I'm nearly done with all my re-writes for books coming next year. It's one way to tackle a writing slump. I'm full of new ideas for rough drafts to come this fall! But first, I'm going to enjoy my summer. Yellowstone, our own beloved Bighorns, Big Sky Book Event, and hopefully ending with hunting season we have a busy summer of fun! I'll be wrapping up the third book for next year and as of right now, 2025 will be my last year of five books to release. After that, I'm dropping back down to four. Want a clue to all the titles coming next year? If you've noticed my pattern the past few years, it might not be a surprise. But I'll give you series names. The first book will be a standalone. Next up will be a return to Morris Valley followed by a Code of Honor book, Long Claw Pride, and ending the year with a sweet and light-hearted Heartstrings book. That's all the clues I'll give you. Not who each couple will be. Not yet. Have a great one! x Brooke I thought about sharing one of the pictures I took of the Aurora, but I'm sure you're sick of seeing those by now. We see them often enough in Wyoming. Instead, I'm showing off the book plates I got in the mail Saturday. I designed them myself, kept it simple and have to now sign all of them. I'm still working on a price to be available in my store. I'll let you know when they are up. I'm turning gears onto cleaning up the new camper my husband and I bought this weekend as well as working on the third book I will be releasing next year. It's going to need a lot of work. That's all I have for you this week. Have a great one! x Brooke The weather is finally showing something other than ... well nothing. It's been raining all morning. That didn't stop me from heading to the post office and sending off the paperbacks ARCs of Whiskey Throttle to their winners! I was drenched by the time I got back to my car, but each book is off to their new home! Edits, playing around with photoshop, and writing are in my schedule for the day and week. I'm slowly self-teaching myself on Photoshop to learn more for better graphics down the road. So far, I've made a double exposed image of a bear and wolf. I'm currently working on edits for Whiskey Throttle as well as a second draft for Right in Front of You Vol. 2. Can you guess which couple that book will be about? We are ten days from Whiskey Throttle's release and I can't believe I'll be done with that series. It will be my second completed series. The Predator being the first. As always, have a great week! x Brooke |
