I'm going to be out of service tomorrow and decided to put this together a day early.
Fated by Delta James is a short read and I felt like I was missing something even when I started. If I have to chance a guess, it's part of a series, though not marked as one. Blurb: Fate made her his. He just has to hunt her down... For centuries Emma has sought to keep herself from being bound to a mate, immortal or otherwise. But Jean-Cristophe is an alpha wolf, and he will take what belongs to him. She will be claimed, marked, and ravaged until she screams his name, even if that means first stripping her bare and spanking her until she is sore, sobbing, and shamefully in need. Goodreads Amazon The next book I have is also by Delta James, Dragonlord. This series I've enjoyed and can't wait to dive into the newest one. Blurb: A dragon does not ask. He takes. When Bridget set out on her own, she sought freedom from the strict rules of her pack. What she found was a beast more stern and demanding than any alpha wolf, a creature of legend intent on claiming her as his mate and breeding her to bring his kind back into the world. A dragon. Gideon did not ask the little she-wolf if she wanted to belong to him. It was not up to her. The moment he awoke and smelled the scent of his mate, she became his. He tracked her down, punished her defiance, and then ravaged her until a thousand years of lust was fully slaked. He did not mark her with his teeth like a wolf. He did not need to. Her body knows its master. Goodreads Amazon Wait With Me by Amy Daws is a first for me from this author and was a fun read! I love when a story can go from hot to funny. Blurb: When romance novelist Kate Smith suddenly gets writer's block as she's beginning the final installment of her international bestselling erotic Bed 'n Breakfast series, she'll do pretty much anything to get her groove back. Like sneak into a Tire Depot waiting room because her words flow there just like complimentary coffee-smooth, sweet, and scorchingly hot. She manages to fly under the radar until the rugged and charming mechanic, Miles Hudson, notices the quirky redhead slinking in and out of the employees only entrance. But she's way too intriguing to blow the whistle on. Doing a test-drive of her new book idea sounds like a much better option. Goodreads Amazon My last book for this week is one I'm still reading. It's the newest from Meagan Brandy, Be My Brayshaw. Blurb: "Cross one, cross all." That's the Brayshaw way. She should have realized this before sliding into our world with secrets too big to bury. She didn't and now the target is on her back. The day her lies came crashing down, I should have forced her out. Instead, I locked her in, and with the promise I would never be hers. I resisted, fought against us. I caved. I fell hard for the little liar. But then the depth of her treachery reveals itself, and with it a reminder. Our town is a twisted place, and with truth comes trouble. In the blink of an eye, my world is split at its core, and I'm faced with an impossible decision, one that leads to a single outcome... Betrayal. Goodreads Amazon That's it for me this week. I'm up having fun in the mountain sun. See you Monday! x Brooke
