What a way to start the week!

No mancrush for you today. I do have one up on my Facebook page if you want to see who was picked for this week though. This weeks started off with a typical walk for the boys and I and lead to us calling the police department and saving 13 to 14 ducklings! I'm not sure the actual number because we took off to find momma when there were still a few stuck. Sadly, we didn't find her but she did get ten of them back. She already had about ten with her when she was panicked and trying to get the rest of her babies.
I'm not a bird lover but I can't very well let anything happen to those babies. Thanks to the older gentleman who's yard they were living in, a police officer, an animal control officer, and myself we saved them.
That's about as exciting as it gets around here so far. And now I'm writing this blog post before I go outside to fill in a hole the husband left for me yesterday. My rewrite of another chapter of Bottoming Out is finished for the day, I'm counting down the days till Aiko's release, and getting ready to hang out with my kiddos.
