The floods are here ...

The week is coming to an end. I have another manuscript is almost done and I already have the next few forming in my head. This book was a challenge for me because it required me to get poetic and write a few poems to play as songs in the story. A couple of the ones I used were ones I had written years ago, but the last one was one I just wrote today. Since this is just a rough draft I don't expect it to be perfect now so I may end up reworking it later.
​In other news, the warden is taking me to Fifty Shades Darker tomorrow night. I'M SO EXCITED!!! It is our first date night since we went to see Miranda Lambert in concert two years ago. The boys will be having a night out at Grandma and Grandpa's watching American Outlaws, playing board games, and baking cookies. I'm going to love a night away but I will miss them.
