Teaser Tuesday is a double header for you this week! First, the above teaser is from Courage of Us, coming October 24th. Patience Courage; a strong word Patience LaClare thought she lost the meaning to. Lost, the word she has come to know. She lost her way in a loveless marriage and stuck in a never-ending cycle of life which lacks any form of joy. That is all about to end, she is taking Courage back and finding who she truly is meant to be. With none of her friends close to help her, Patience finds her own way to bring her life back to something she can be proud of. Everything is about to change. Duke Broken; is who Marine Duke Michaels is now. Medically discharged from the Marines, he is heading home where to Centennial, Montana and the first piece of his life fell apart. Patience Not just a word of one's state of being but the girl he left. She was everything to him and he let her move on with someone else. He lives with many regrets, but none are as powerful as not fighting for Patience. But things aren't what he thought they would be once he came home. He discovers the shell of a girl he loved and sees she is now struggling to gain Courage once more. Duke isn’t about to let her slip through his fingers for a second time. This time, he has his own Courage to go after what he wants. Amazon Goodreads This second teaser is from Love, Mercy. It is a Code of Honor book along with Courage of Us, but it will be a novella that ties into a collaboration I'm working on with a wonderful group of ladies for a Veteran's Day release.
You fall in love. You marry. And you do everything within your power to support your spouse. Mercy Logan goes above and beyond for her love for her husband, Daxon. But their life together has not turned out how they always thought it would. Both strived to join the Army to follow in their fathers' footsteps. Only to have that plan waylaid by Mercy's inability to join. She has made up for it by showing her support to her husband who is now in the active duty of special ops. Living her life as normally as she can, Mercy clings to the moments between deployments and yearns to make more. That includes adding children to their future. A future that completely spins out of control with news that Daxon may never come home again. Through it all, Mercy writes Daxon. Hoping, praying, and pleading that her love is enough to make the impossible possible. I don't have any links for this one yet, but should by next week. I hope you enjoy both teasers. x, Brooke
