I haven't gone for a walk in three days now. I know, some may say "big deal?" but it is to me. I thrive on my morning walks with Timber, but considering how much snow and cold we've gotten and I was fighting a head cold my kids so kindly gave to me, I thought it best to stay indoors even if I craved to bundle up and get out. Now, this morning with me feeling better I could have but even I draw the line at 15 below.
Instead, I'm getting myself going on a new WIP. I wrote this story back in 2017, but I'm starting all over. I had written it around the time I lost my grandpa who I was extremely close with and the story just lacked a soul to me. And my stories have to have one of those for me to move forward with it. It's darker too than anything else I've ever written, which might be another issue. I don't know if I can go dark. But we shall see. I finished Malayeka over the weekend while I was forced to stay behind again with going hunting, but I'm glad I have the story done. It's a sweet one like all the others. As you can see from the picture, I have quite the spread laid out for the second day in a row to get this book plotted. Wish me luck. x Brooke

Did you -15?? Oh heck no... I love seeing your snow pictures but I don’t think I could live there full time. Having fibromyalgia, the cold is a double-edged sword.
