Happy Friday all! This week I am doing an interview with Maddi from Faith in My Cowboy. It will be the same questions as I asked Emma last week. Me: Who are you named after? Maddi: My great grandmother and it is a family name that skipped a few generations so my parents gave it to me. Me: When was the last time you cried? Maddi: They were tears of joy when I came into my bakery kitchen to see Ashlyn and Hope trying to decorate cookies. They were so sweet together. Me: Do you prefer soda or water? Maddi: I prefer iced tea to be honest, but I'll take water. Me: What is your favorite pizza? Maddi: Meat lovers, I love crisp sausage and sometimes bacon on it. Me: What are your favorite flowers? Maddi: chrysanthemums, they are so pretty. Me: Do you still have your tonsils? Maddi: No, I had them taken out when I was six. Me: Would you ever bungee jump? Maddi: Goodness, no. I'd be too scared for the bungee to snap or hitting my head on something. Me: Did you go to college? Maddi: *Giggles* Silly, you know I did but yes. I attended school for a degree in psychology until I dropped out to take care of Tucker and then went to baking classes to open my bakery. Me: Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? Maddi: Yes, how else are my kids going to learn? If I just kept them tied, what example am I setting for them? Me: Have you ever ridden on a roller coaster? Maddi: Once, my aunt put me on one and it was horrible. Me: What is your favorite ice cream? Maddi: Rocky Road. Me: What are your favorite things? Maddi: Macaroni necklaces and other homemade things my kids give to me. Me: Do you prefer shorts or jeans? Maddi: Shorts in the summer, but I always wear jeans or long skirts at work to keep the heat of the ovens away from my legs. Me: What are you listening to now? Maddi: The birds chirping outside right now while my kids pick raspberries from my mom's garden. Me: What's your favorite color? Maddi: Mint green. Me: Do you have any tattoos? Maddi: No, but I'm not against them. I like to see what other people put on their skin but I don't care to have any on me. Me: Your hair color? Maddi: Light brown and I get highlights every now and again of blond. Me: You're eye color? Maddi: blue like almost everyone else in the family. Me: Android or iPhone? Maddi: Android, nothing against iPhones, I've just stuck to what I'm comfortable with. Me: Do you like scary or happy endings? Maddi: Happy, of course. Me: Chevy, Ford, or Dodge? Maddi: *Quickly runs around the side of the house to look at Tucker's truck* Chevy. Me: What is your favorite holiday? Maddi: Fourth of July because of all the fun we have celebrating our country. Me: Beer or wine? Maddi: Wine, beer is too bitter for me. Me: Are you a night owl or an early bird? Maddi: Early bird, well, baker's hours is what I live with. Me: What is your favorite day of the week? Maddi: Any day that ends with a Y. *Giggles happily* ~*~Faith in My Cowboy~*~
Maddi Barnett was used to living a solitary life until a handsome soldier cowboy saved her. Feelings she never knew started to blossom in her life. A happy life is what she wanted with Tucker Price, even after his injury. And they seemed completely set up for a life together, until tragedy hit and things changed drastically. Tucker loses his way and pushes Maddi away. Unsure on what to do, Maddi is faced with two choices; give up and move home or fight for her love. Can Maddi heal from the heartbreak and possibly save Tucker? Will others cause untold damage to save a relationship for them? Faith is a strong thing; it helps the weak become stronger, others grow in the belief of another, and sometimes you need enough to help heal someone you love. And that’s why Maddi has faith in her cowboy. Universal Link: https://www.books2read.com/u/4EDAEO Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/25566265-faith-in-my-cowboy
