Good Monday Morning, World!

It's Monday and that means ManCrush Monday in my readers group. I picked out celebrities this week. And you guessed it, Ryan Reynolds is one of them.
This past weekend was a busy one. Well, at least on Saturday. I had my signing for Love, Mercy at Sheridan Stationery Books and Gallery. It was great getting to talk to and connect with fellow book lovers and I thank not only Robby and everyone at Sheridan Stationery, but everyone who came in to support me. It truly means the world to me.
I barely got home and we were off again. We decided to go to Jumanji that afternoon rather than yesterday and I loved it! Funnier than the first, but way more cussing. So, if that bothers you with your kids I recommend you go see it first and judge for yourself. That led me on a tangent about swearing in kid friendly movies anymore. It is becoming more acceptable and I don't care for it. Sure, I cuss a lot, but I do my best to watch my mouth around my kids. And then, later that night, we caught up on The Mandalorian and once again, there was cussing. I remember watching the original trilogy and the worse ever said was when Han said "Then I'll see you in hell." Disney is supposed to be kid friendly and now they are letting Star Wars, which as done wonderfully without swearing, do it now? Yeah, thanks a lot.
Okay, I'm off the soap box now.
I'm back to work with Squid. I'm kind of hoping to have the rough draft done by the end of the month but I'm not holding my breath.
