I picked the right time of year to release She's No Cowgirl. Honestly, I didn't think about it when I set the date for it but so glad I did with football everywhere!
And that includes both of my kids. My youngest has started his first year of flag, four years of that before he can tackle which is what he really wants to do. And my oldest is in his first year of traveling. We headed south Saturday for a game. I can definitely say I'm the mom cheering "Go, boys, go!" On the sidelines even if I don't know everything about football. Apparently I'm embarrassing. I don't care. He won his game by the way. Both teams did great and it brings some tears to my eyes because so many of the boys on his team he's played with since he first started flag and seeing them all a maturing young men is wonderful. I'll be a wreck when the youngest gets to this age. It froze here last week, even got a dusting of snow which killed my zucchini plants, thankfully they were slowing down with producing. Now I have a gaping hole in my garden where broccoli and cauliflower are still growing. In the writing part of my life, I'm diving back into My Bronc Riding Cowgirl for the week and editing She's No Cowgirl. Ten days! Eeek! That's it for me. See you Friday. x Brooke
