Spring fever got a hold of me this weekend and even though I spent Saturday baking sample cakes and taking the kiddos to the new indoor pool, Sunday was all about purging my house … mainly the boys' room … from old toys.
Whenever my youngest got close to trying to reclaim a toy he had forgotten about, I blasted him in the face with our Minion Fart Gun. Don't look at me like that, it worked. Five trash bags later and I can see their room once more. And I still have their closet to do. Two bags went to the garbage while I'm donating the rest because I can't bring myself to throw away still good toys. And yes, I'm keeping the fart gun. In other news, book news, I've wrapped up the second draft of Faida, the second Heartstrings book coming in December and even have the blurb written for it. Thankfully, it was easier than I thought it would be. No head bashing was needed. Now that it's done and I have prizes ready to ship out, I'm debating on what to write next. I'm planning the sixth My Cowboy book, but I don't know who to write because both are speaking to me. But who to start with? If you're in my readers group, feel free to vote who I should go with. That's all for this Monday. I hope the weather is getting nice for you. It's starting to here. See you Friday. x Brooke
