This week perfectly showcases how odd Wyoming weather can be. While the rest of the state seems to be getting slammed with snowstorms, Northern Wyoming has barely seen any of it that I'm concerned for snowpack and drought this summer. Today and tomorrow are supposed to be in the high 60's before we steadily drop to possibilities of snow later in the week. I highly doubt we'll see any aside from up on the mountain. Which, for once, would be okay with me because I have to drive three hours east Saturday with my mom, children, and dogs.
Last week, I wrapped up my first complete rough draft since November and now trying to figure out what I'm doing next. I'm in a dilemma with one book coming out this year. I have two very different versions of it and trying to figure out which one to go with. Thankfully, a good friend of mine is helping me out by reading both. For now, I'm going to try to focus on a certain cottontail shifter who needs his story told now. I had one story done for him, but going in a different direction now. Unfortunately, this means his book won't be coming out until 2026, but I hope he's worth the wait. That's all for the week! Have a great one! x Brooke
