As some know, I have my one and only craft show fast approaching (December 6th) and I've been working away getting everything ready. Not only will I be selling my books, but my photography as well. I have the latter all set now with a booth layout in my noggin, and now I can say I'm done with my book half as well. I wanted to have some other things aside from my books for sale so I've made shopping bags with both bookish and outdoorsy stuff on them. I've also done the same with glass cups. You know, the ones with the bamboo lids and glass straws? I made designs for them Saturday night and didn't like any of them so I started over and it took my all day yesterday to get them put together. BTW, camo vinyl is a pain in the ass to weed. Glitter vinyl is a close second.
Now I just need to let them sit for a couple of days before I spray them with a clear coat to seal the vinyl on them and then I'm all ready for the event! That was frustrating, but the real frustration has come in the form of figuring out Eliza's story. I was almost done with a rough draft and didn't feel the soul, so what did I do? Labeled that doc as Spare parts and starting over. This happens from time to time, so I hope I can get it figured out. Everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving this week, I hope you have a wonderful one! Happy Reading, x Brooke
