We are approaching the final countdown for a return to Morris Valley! Julia and Gentry are more heartfelt than funny, but there are some humorous parts. Now ... if I can just figure out Eliza's story I will be content.
Have a great week!

To quote my Instagram post: Some girls want to be winded and dined for their birthdays, others just want to stomp through snow drifts, take pictures, get muddy all in the hope of finding some moose sheds. Me, I'm the others." My man delivered! We might not have found any sheds, but we still had fun just the two of us hiking through the trees. We surveyed how little snow the mountain has and worried about what kind of restrictions will be in place early this year. BUT! I did get some new pictures I'm loving, including this one. I fell face first into a snow drift, laughed my ass off about it, and still had fun. I didn't get much writing accomplished last week, but this week I'm full of focus and ready to get the words out. Have a wonderful week! x Brooke The return to Morris Valley is almost here!
And as such, ARCs are currently available for a short period of time. All I ask for is that since you are getting a free book you review it on whatever site you prefer. It doesn't have to be Amazon, but would be greatly appreciated. Just remember not to state you received it for free in exchange for a review. The Zon doesn't like that. This book comes out April 7th and is #2 of 5 for this year. As for writing, I'm actually working on the last book of this series. Let me tell you, the pressure is on to make it funny, heartfelt, and engaging as all the others. I'm trying to remind myself this is just the rough draft, but sometimes it's difficult. I hope you have a wonderful week! x Brooe If I thought I had a full plate last week, it has nothing on this one.
Last week, I had a small procedure but was able to stay just as productive as I always try to be. This week, I have another one, this time for my mouth, words to get down, and something put together for Sheridan, Wyoming Writers and Authors meeting this coming Saturday. Hopefully, I will be able to talk otherwise it's going to be a quick meeting and education session. I don't have a whole lot to share this week. Have a great one! x Brooke I have an issue. A good one, but an irritating one nonetheless.
I have too many damn stories that all want to be written at the same time! Right when I'm focusing on one, getting all the way through a great outline BOOM! another story strikes and wants to take the attention away. I'm not a person who can write more than one book at a time. I have to be able to give one my full dedication before moving on. BUT, I'm going to give it a try this time around. The other story wanting to come out is a much shorter one and something so completely different that maybe I can work them both out of my system at the same time. Writing your book isn't a race; against others or yourself. Take whatever amount of time you need and sometimes, you need to take a break and do something else for a bit. I've been making jewelry, but now I'm ready to write again. Have a wonderful week! x Brooke |
