Last week was spring break for my kiddos. I had it all planned out how I was going to get up early, get my daily workout and walk done and then sit down to write four chapters a day to get the book I'm currently working on complete.
That didn't go to plan.
Monday, I wrote a chapter and a half, and for the rest of the week, it was only two chapters every day.
This week though, I'm finishing up this book and going back to finish another before I start to dive into rewrites a little early this year.
We have a busy summer filled with trips, mountain time, and I'm sure other things I won't see coming until they are upon us.
I'll be back over the weekend with what I read for the past TWO months since I kind of forgot about February.

This weekend was a busy one! I met with an author group I'm starting in my hometown which turned out great! I was so excited to see like-minded individuals come together to form a community. My home is great at promoting the arts, but writing is never one they really think about and we are hoping to change that.
With the nice weather, my husband continued to work in his garage in making an archery work area while our youngest and I worked on cleaning up our yard.
And now we are supposed to get more snow. I'm loving the warm weather to go for walks in the morning without worry of falling flat on my butt, but I am happy we are getting more moisture.
This week is spring break for my kiddos and I'm going to try to work on the final My Cowboy book.

Umm ... How has a month past since my last post? I thought I only missed a couple of weeks.
I apologize ... even though I'm not sure how many people out there actually read my weekly posts.
I've been busying myself away with house training a puppy, trying to screw my head on right to finish up a couple of my series, and enjoying the now warm days.
I don't really have anything else to share right now. Maybe that's why I haven't posted? Not sure.
